DATA RETENTION PERIOD
ALEXIS Assurances is committed to keeping your personal data for a duration not exceeding that necessary for the purposes for which they are processed and in accordance with the retention periods imposed by the applicable laws in force.
Thus, regarding its commercial operations, ALEXIS Assurances retains the data concerning you for the following durations:
- The data of clients are kept for a maximum of 3 years from the end of the business relationship (for example, either from the expiry of a contract, or from the last contact originating from the client);
- The data of non-client prospects are kept for a maximum of 3 years from their collection by our services or from the last contact originating from the prospect (for example, requests for information or documentation).
In case a contract is concluded, the data concerning you is kept for the entire duration of the contract and until the expiration of the applicable prescription period (5 years in general). ALEXIS Assurances may in certain cases retain the data for a longer period of time if necessary for the follow-up of the file, particularly in the context of claims management linked to a legal procedure, as long as the appeal routes are not exhausted.
The data necessary for accounting is kept for a period of 10 years in accordance with the applicable accounting and tax obligations.
EXERCISE OF YOUR RIGHTS
In accordance with the applicable regulations, you have, vis-à-vis your personal data, the following rights:
- The right of access: you have the right to obtain confirmation that personal data concerning you are or are not subject to processing and, when they are, access to these personal data and a copy of them, subject to the rights of third parties.
